STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE – HVAC VRV OUTDOOR SYSTEM PPM ACTIVITY

 OBJECTIVE:

To establish a procedure for ladder inspection.

 

POLICY:

Proactively identify, correct, and report ladder defects and damages to promote worker safety in compliance with regulations.

 

RESPONSIBILITY:

 

Shift Engineer

 

PROCEDURE:

 

·        Before activity all PPE’s should available.

·        Apply LOTO equipment to the supply source.

·        Make sure System is isolated from the main supply.

·        Clean coils and condensers

·        Replace all of your unit’s filters

·        Check the outside unit, clear any debris, and ensure the cabinet door is closed

·        Check the cabinet for leaks

·        To ensure proper airflow, clear any clogs in the drain lines

·        Check the refrigerant charge, thermostats, and all connections associated with the electrical system

·        Inspect the ducts for dust and mold, and inspect the blowers and blades

·        Make sure the fan motor is operating correctly and lubricate any moving parts

·        At any job motto should be safety first.

·        In case of any major problem, inform the Facility Manager immediately.

REVISION GUIDE:

Any change in the systems will need a change in the SOP.
