STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE – HAND DRYER PPM

 OBJECTIVE:

To establish a procedure for Hand dryer PPM activity.

 

POLICY:

The new electrical installation and power supply provision shall be carried out in safe, smooth, trouble free without affecting the occupants with reduced down time.

 

RESPONSIBILITY:

 

Shift Engineer

 

PROCEDURE:

 

·        Disconnect device from power supply.

·        Pour a cup of water down drain hole. Clean drain by using included

cleaning brush.

·        Wipe the cover with a soft cloth and mild cleaning solution. Do not soak. Never use abrasives to clean the cover.

·        Do not drench surface directly with any kind of sanitizer.

·        Disassemble tray, clean, and dry it.

·        Clean filter box with a soft cloth and mild cleaning solution. Do not soak. Slide back filter bag into place. Recommend replace a new filter bag when air velocity drops.

·        Repeat the activity every week.

 

 

REVISION GUIDE:

Any change in the systems will need a change in the SOP.
